Biography

Jessica Biel is an American actress. She was born on March 3rd. 1982 in Ely Minnesota to John and Kim Biel, but grew up in Boulder, Colorado. She has a younger brother named Justin.[10] She is well known for her good looks and her stunning body and is highly sought after for major acting roles.[1] She was always singing and dancing as a child, and was obsessed with the play "Annie." [10] Jessica Biel was a child actress, who rose to fame with her first role at the age of 14 on The WB's "7th Heaven".[2]

She attended Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, but did not complete her degree. This was after she attended "School Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles" for high school.[9]

In order to break out of the good girl role of Mary Camden on "7th Heaven" Biel decided to post topless in Gear Magazine. This immediately endeared her to a different audience. [3] She also hoped that this would end her contract with "7th Heaven", which it did. [9]She later expressed regret for the move, despite the fact it worked as intended. [5]In her movie career she has shown a ton of versatility, playing wide ranges of characters. It is this range that has helped her win choice roles.

Jessica Biel had her breakthrough role in 1996, with "The Illusionist", which did decent numbers at the box office, and was a hit with critics.

Personal Life

In 2006, Jessica Biel dated New York Yankees star Derek Jeter. [11]

Since early 2007, Jessica Biel has been linked romantically to pop singer Justin Timberlake. The singer broke up with Cameron Diaz, and began dating Biel. A friend of Timberlake's said at the time "She's the coolest chick ever. He wants to be with her all the time. He's ready to be serious." [4]
