Biography

Adnan Ghalib is a photographer from FinalPixx whose association with Britney Spears has thrust him into the limelight. Ghalib told ABC's 20/20 that he made over $200,000 in 2007 following around and photographing Britney Spears, who he referred to as "awesome".[1] Ghalib is based in California, but was raised in Afghanistan. In 1977 he moved to London with his family and then went to Birmingham.[8] He is alleged to have operated a strip club before becoming a paparazzi.[2]

Personal Life

Early in January 2008, Ghalib was not separated from his wife, Azlynn Elizabeth Berry, but remained on speaking terms. A source said, "He was with her up until a week before he and Britney started this thing. And, she thinks that they'll work things out in the end." [6]

On January 23rd., 2008 Ghalib's wife changed her tune, filing for legal separation. She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.[11]

Relationship with Britney Spears

<p>Spears and Ghalib have been linked together, but their relationship is unclear. There is an extant video of the two kissing. It was also rumored that Ghalib had arranged to sell pictures of himself and Spears, althought this has not been confirmed.[3]

Ghalib and Spears checked into Mexico's Rosarito Beach Hotel and enjoyed a short stay together. According to Ghalib's photo agency, "Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib are happily dating."[4]

Adnan Ghalib now works for Britney Spears, and has been officially added to her payroll. He now gets paid to run errands, clean house, and protect her. "Britney is showering Adnan with gifts because she’s desperate to hang on to him,” a source told Mail Online.[5]

Rumors have surfaced that Britney Spears is pregnant by Ghalib, due to her and Ghalib browsing for a home pregnancy test.[7]

Britney's friend Sam Lufti revealed the star is not pregnant and said “It’s all bulls--t. They’re just toying with the paparazzi."[9]

On January 20, 2008 a photographer asked Britney Spears if she had any messages for Adnan Ghalib and she replied in a British accent "I don't know who that is... I have never met him before." This statement by her is believed to indicate that any relationship the two might have involved in is now over.[10]
